CHILEAN EARTHQUAKE RELIEF

The efforts have already started and our focus will be to support the a registered group concentrating on the re-build of the town of Laja. Presently the group (led by CMPC) organizing the re-build has concentrated on providing pre-fab housing to Laja ...

·        Received money  or commitments of roughly $300,000 as of March, 2010

·        They have  ordered their first 40 homes from North America

·        Each home is 38 Square meters with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a kitchen at a very modest cost structure

·        A major break bulk carrier has donated  40 homes and are transporting

·        All the homes that are purchased by the group are being transported at no additional cost.

·        The manufacturer of the homes are sending people to Chile at no charge to teach the local people and volunteers how to construct the homes

·        Site preparation for the homes are is being handled by a group of engineers at no extra costs.

A great team and industry effort for our friends in Chile!

More updates and website links will be provided on the progress of the re-build.

Let's join together to help our friends .... Thank-you.
